At 3pm on Saturday 29th of March 2025, there will be a Waiter's Race down Calle Marbella in La Calla de Mijas. Waiters from local bars and restaurants will be competing in negotiating the 160metres from the top of Calle Marbella, near the Town Hall, to the Torreon Tower whilst carrying a tray holding a cup of coffee and a plate with croissant on it.
